A portmanteau of gasha or gacha as is more commonly said in the west, an onomatopeia representing a vending machine and pon from the sound of the capsule when falling into a tray, gashopon are miniature model kits, showcasing some of the most famous Gundam models in a small scale.
Some of these feature a miniature LED to play with, clear parts for you to tinker on... They do indeed pack quite a punch!
