The Rising Freedom hails from the recent Gundam SEED Freedom, combining the Strike Freedom with the Murasame!

The Freedom sports a bright blue color scheme with extra thrusters (even on the shoulders!) and cannons on the wings. This very same colour scheme is followed down to the eyes.
One of the main features is the transformation into a Mobile Armour mode, more reminiscent of a fighter and other series such as Macross. It is done with a simple part swap that enables extension of the thrusters and wings.


It is also another beneficiary of the SEED Action System, a new articulation framework that the SEED Freedom kits are shipped with which includes a double joint system for shoulders and a more flexible one on the torso. The hip and ankles are also redesigned for a better range of motion.
