MG Eclipse Gundam
The MVF-X08 Eclipse Gundam is a custom mobile suit that was secretly developed by Orb (officially means International Disaster Relief Team) and piloted by Tatsumi Hori. It appears in the manga “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Eclipse”, although it can also be found in the video game “Gundam Breaker Mobile”.
Its main characteristic is its ability to transform (Flight mode as a fighter plane). In the manga, it has the “Mirage Colloid” technology, a kind of gas with prismatic microscopic particles that can be used in various ways: camouflage, reflective shields, computer virus transmitters, energy neutralizers ...
The armor he wears is the “Phase Shift” type, which uses the electricity produced by his Nuclear Reactor to reduce physical damage by creating an electric force field on the Mecha's surface. The effectiveness of the shield will depend on the energy (which is also a limitation). Some iconic examples wearing the same armor are ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, or ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam.
The Eclipse Gundam was developed with the functions of a supersonic spacecraft, capable of operating at high speeds and at great altitudes and distances. Unlike the MVF-M11C Murasame, which also transforms to defend water and space territories, the Eclipse was designed to combat enemy bases. That is, although their model number is similar, both were conceived with different philosophies.
This model kit comes with such precise proportions that allow it to have a great posability without losing balance, a well distributed weight. The equipment is so complete that it has extra joints (Joints) to add other sets from other model kits. You can easily reproduce the “Saber Mode” with the extra effects parts included in the kit… and for free! Also included are interchangeable hands, stickers, and a display stand.
