How to use flat topcoat
This is a flat varnish and should not be used as an intermediate layer if we're going to apply panel liner or decals. This kind of varnish offers a more grounded look, muting the model and removing most of its shine.
Mr. Hobby Topcoats
The Mr. Super Clear line is a solvent-based varnish which differentiates it from others such as Mr. Topcoat and Mr. Premium Topcoat. It brings better resistance against scratches but at the same time, it can harm paint that is not solvent-based due to it's aggressive composition. Furthermore, certain decals can also be damaged when applied this varnish.
Their UV Cut denomination comes from their ultraviolet light filtering capabilities which prevents the fading of colours on our paint due to the pigment burning or the yellowing of plastic, phenomena that occurs under sunlight exposure.
