MU-Type system

Most of you have mentioned being interested in more than our current MUGs when reaching a certain threshold or just interested in more Gundam themed swag overall. Since all our merch is made-to-order inhouse and we do not like cutting corners, we had to take some time to plan and prepare what our future step would be.

While we are happy with our current cashback system (MLPS) it also felt like we could improve on it and try to give back something more appealing. We also understand that those of you who have walked this path along us for such a long time have cabinets full of MUGs and may be more interested in other rewards.
Furthermore, our current MLPS is a bit of a nightmare, especially for end-users when trying to grab the free MUG due to different VAT % applicable on all the countries we ship to. This is also a failure on our part for not conveying it properly and so, we also take advantage of this announcement to apology for any misunderstandings or issues you may have had when dealing with it!

With those two main reasons combined, the brand MU-Type program was born. The previous cashback system will be rolled into it and revamped. On every purchase you make, you will get a number of points which dependant on the product since they are also % based, that you can then use to grab free goodies, such as HG kits, paints and brushes or other seasonal goodies we may offer during special campaigns.
While the highest bracket of MLPS capped at a 5% cashback, our new system will instead go up to 10% which is the % it will launch at!

Furthermore, the new MU-Type points can be used on the same purchase you are acquiring them! So, if you want that extra kit, you can get it with the same order that makes you eligible for it.

Your current MLPS will obviously be there as we transition to this new system, but you will no longer earn them on every purchase. They will be your store credit that you can acquire via reviews special events or small tokens of gratitude and similar use cases.

As this system, neither MLPS nor MU-Type have an expiration date, so you may cash them out whenever you prefer.

Q) What is the MU-Type system?

A) A system by which you earn points that can be used to purchase model kits and hobby goodies for free as a reward for your purchases.

 

Q) How are they achieved?

A) Each product you purchase will net you a certain amount of points. Each product will show you in its product page how many points will they give you once purchased and in the checkout page you can also see how many points will your order award you.

 

Q) Do they expire?

A) Just like MLPS, MU-Type points do not expire.

 

Q) What are the rewards?

A) All rewards will be either model kits, tools or hobby-themed goodies. We are going to move from a purely swag reward to actual kits you may enjoy building or tools you could add to your array. They will be periodically changed and refreshed so they do not become stale.

 

Q) How do I spend them?

A) When ordering, at the bottom of the page you may choose the goodies you’d like to add to your order. Each reward has a different cost of points. You can spend the points acquired in the order in that same order.

 

Q) What happens with my current MLPS?

A) They are yours and always will be. You can cash them out when you want and can earn them via reviews or similar methods. You will no longer be able to acquire MLPS via purchases.
